Cabo Rico 54/56 - The Masterful Hull

The unique, masterful hull is now taking shape. Masterful because Cabo Rico has used two of the finest naval architects working today, the legendary W.I.B. Crealock of California and C.W. Paine of Maine, to evolve our hull forms to combine modern, fast performance characteristics with the valuable traits of comfortable motion, safety, and ease of handling.

In a world of unfounded promotional claims by many manufacturers that their boats are both fast racers and seaworthy cruisers, Cabo Rico stands alone in truly and carefully evolving its designs to maximize sailing performance, comfort and safety for the real world. A realm of lakes, seas and oceans whose conditions vary daily, while its characteristics have been the same since time began.

The new Cabo Rico 54/56 is our latest design in this process and is from the design board of Chuck Paine. The 54/56 also benefits in its unique Cabo Rico clipper bow design which stems from Chuck's collaboration with Bill Crealock on the latest Cabo Rico 42.
