The Launch Party
The commissioning is done and it's a bright sunny day in southern California. The new 56 has just sailed for the first time yesterday, but was missing her forward MPG sail which has just arrived and been bent on.
Interestingly, here are a Cabo Rico 36 and 45 in addition to the new Cabo 56, all in a row, plus a 38 around on the next dock and a CR40 not far away.
So it is in the pretty harbor at Dana Point, that the festivities begin.
While things carry on top sides, lets take a look at some of the interior
The new Cabo Rico 56 is one of the first yachts to fit this wonderful sail as standard. The flexibility this triple headsail rig provides is both useful and practical. The clipper bow and typical Cabo Rico cutter headsails allow for this third sail to be carried easily with lots of room in the foretriangle. It also allows for an easier to use, smaller genoa to be the right size for breezes that exceed those fit for the MPG. All the sails on Madrina are fitted with roller furling, including the mainsail which uses the Leisurfurl system.
Watch this site, in the next weeks, for professional photos of both the interior and exterior of this superb, first, Cabo Rico 56! The flagship of the Cabo Rico ultimate bluewater yachts!
