For over 37 years, all Cabo Rico hulls have proven themselves as the ultimate in strength! This new Cabo adheres to this stringent standard. But because of her size, she also has a massive stringer and floor timber structure.

The solid lead ballast is fully encapsulated and additional hull laminations glassed over top. Next, the floor timber construction gets underway.

With all the stringers completed, workers are constructing Cabo Rico’s proprietary mast step structure. This massive support keeps the mast out of any minor bilge water or moisture that can cause corrosion to the mast and its step, plus keeps wiring high and dry as well. The loads from the mast are carried down, through the solid support, to the ballast. This is but one of many examples of the extra engineering, time, and cost that goes into making a Cabo Rico cruising yacht the very best in the world.

All the while, the seemingly endless task of polishing the deck form, or plug, continues.
